The combined buying strength of Asian-Americans is expected to hit $528 billion in 2009. Since 1990 (when it was $118 billion), that would be a 347% gain. That rate significantly outpaces the rate of increase for other groups such as Whites (140%), Blacks (203%), or the US as a whole (159%).
