Women of Color As Entrepreneurs

Women of color are making their mark as entrepreneurs. The firms women of color own are growing at six times the rate of all companies in the U.S. Between 1997 and 2004, the data from all privately-held firms in the U.S. shows they grew by nine percent. Those owned by women of color grew by 54.6%.
